* The Hazard Communication Standard has been revised as of March 2012 to align itself with the Globally Harmonized System. Among other revisions, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) will follow the set format and standard sections of the new Safety Data Sheet (SDS). To overview, we start with a full THOROUGH physical inventory where our team inventories your entire facility and documents the products that we find- paints, cleaners, degreasers, raw material, maintenance chemicals, etc…. We then import the MSDS/ SDS in to our system. We departmentalize and alphabetize the index. As we bring in the data sheets, we actually review each one to determine its hazard, as well as if it is an MSDS or an updated SDS. We are able to provide you with a list as to which products have the updated SDS. The online management is tailored to your facility. Department inventories are bound in an electronic PDF file and accessed through our website. As products are updated in your facility, you inform us of the changes and we make the appropriate updates online and you are able to download the updated versions.
Clients may also SEND US YOUR INVENTORY list and we will creat your electronic version, either PDF or HTML file, complete with SDS tracking, hazard identification and udpates!!!!
For a demonstration, click on “client area” in the upper right of your screen and use the username general@msds.com with the username “msds”. View the “sample” binder. Your company will have their own file, viewed only by whomever you provide your username and password to. This is YOUR inventory, not merely access to thousands of different documents to filter through.
